Another weekend goes by, and another beach we visited! Our family is in love with the beach. It is so simple to make a great day turn greater by visiting the ocean. The boys are in love with all the variety the beach brings. We used to take bags of sand toys, towels, shovels etc. Now our load consists of: Sunscreen, a towel, and a favorite toy. The toy of the weekend was a new beach rake the daddy found at the good ole' dollar store. Not only was it a dollar, it also was a piece of junk (sorry daddy). Within about 10 minutes of being there, Matthew had smashed his and bent the bottom. However, it didn't stop our fun morning out in St. Augustine and Anastasia Beach!

Check out Washington Oaks Park. It is a bit far, but sooo fun. It is a rocky beach and FULL of critters to hunt for. We spent the day at the park just wandering along enjoying the beauty of the flowers, the little pond FULL of minnows and the butterfly garden. We saw dolphins in the river and I was told there are TONS of hermit crabs along the shore. Then crossed the street and played in the sand and on the rocks. it was the BEST!!!
