nene update and moving

Well, it's now been a little over a week. Sam is doing great! Sam requests his beloved nene every once in a while, when he is overtired or in trouble. However, we kind of do a little ignoring and he stops, and moves onto a different comfort item.
I have to admit a part of me is so sad for him. He's been comforted by his little nene for 3.5 years. It was the only thing that would stop him from crying as an infant, he fell in love, and now mommy took it away from him.
Well, with that said, I guess I'm over it. It was a loooonnnnggggg loooooonnnnnngggggg last week, however, we plowed through and I'm so pleased with the results. He still finds it a little challenging to fall asleep, however, we're working with him on that piece. It takes him a little over an hour to wind down in his bed now. It used to take him seconds to fall asleep.
We'll get through it. I'm hoping that when we move, he'll feel a little more comfortable without it.

Speaking of moving, we're in trouble. We think this is going to be an easy move, however, so I've heard, the closer the move, the harder it is. We get our keys to our new home on Saturday! We can't wait. Our plan is to move a little over every day, in-between play dates and every day life, naps etc. We have some great friends who have offered to help and offered to help me with my children during the day. Thank you friends!!!! Our plan is to be all moved in and settled the middle of April. However, I have many photo commitments in between now and then so I am hoping everything works out and busting my hiney. I am thinking that I am going to have to move out of the house on weekends so I can concentrate on my career, which by the way I am sooooo excited about!
